Ebook About Making friends isn't easy, but losing them is even harder!Natalie has never felt that she's enough -- athletic enough, stylish enough, or talented enough. And on the first day of middle school, Natalie discovers that things are worse than she thought -- now she's not even cool enough for her best friend, Lily! As Natalie tries to get her best friend back, she learns more about her true self and natural talents. If Natalie can focus on who she is rather than who she isn't, then she might realize she's more than enough, just the way she is.Book Nat Enough (Nat Enough #1) Review :
Natalie is not athletic enough, not cool enough, not talented enough. Even her best friend, Lily, turned against her (she’s very mean now.) Why did she still want to be friends with her? Why was she trying so hard to get her back? Pathetic, if you ask me. Throughout the whole story, we see Nat go through these pathetic hijinx to try to improve herself to be good enough for Lily. By the end, I liked the final message: Focus on who you are instead of who you aren’t. Yes!Nice illustrations and an okay story. Maria Scrivan’s “Nat Enough” is aimed at ages 8-12, but it is delightful for all ages. Tweens (is that the term?) will enjoy the deceptively simple drawings and appreciate the message to tune out the negative voices and embrace their own individuality. But adults will also enjoy the witty asides and the whimsical details (like the faux magazine covers). And everyone will enjoy the comic relief provided by Nat’s cat and dog!
